“Love Me For Who I Am” is Johnny’s second full length album. Completed at the end of 2019 with promotions beginning in early 2020, the album features original music full of what country music should be. 2020, although a challenging year due to Covid-19 restrictions and live music touring all but shutting down, proved to be an amazing year for Johnny and his career with “Never Really Famous”, the lead track from the album and the first single released from the album, spending 12 Weeks at #1 on the Worlds Indie Country Music Charts and earning the #1 Spot on the 2020 Country Indie Top 100 Countdown. Johnny ended 2020 with a bang receiving his first major music award nomination from the Hollywood Music In Media Awards and winning his category in country music for “Never Really Famous” beating out 8 other phenomenal nominees.
The second single from the album was the title track, “Love Me For Who I Am” released in May, 2021. The single did well in radio and streaming platforms with the Music Video being a fun and creative “Covid-Friendly and Socially distanced” collaboration between Johnny and his fans across the country.
Johnny’s third single, “Honey For Hire” also spent time at #1 on Indie Country Charts and received over 50,000 Streams on Spotify alone. 2021 proved to be the highlight of Johnny’s career thus far with Johnny receiving FOUR nominations from the 7th Annual Josie Music Awards… Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year (Honey For Hire) and the highly coveted ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR. “Honey For Hire” also earned Johnny a repeat nomination in the Country Music Category from The Hollywood Music in Media Awards in 2021.
Johnny started 2022 with his fourth and final single from “Love Me For Who I Am”. February 15th, 2022, The Day After Valentines, Johnny Released “A Hole In My Heart” with the official music video for the single premiering the same day. Johnny is receiving rave reviews from radio and DJ’s and “A Hole In My Heart” is quickly becoming a fan Favorite.
Johnny is currently working on his 3rd album and anticipates it’s release in 2023.
