05/02/2022: Yesterday afternoon, Tamanie, with the International Singer Songwriter Association, announced the FINALISTS from the 2022 ISSA Nominees in a live Broadcast. After a month long voting process, the Top 25 from each award category were promoted to the FINALISTS level where a panel of judges will determine the winners. Johnny Collier is so very proud to be among the prestigious list of FINALISTS in three categores…MALE SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR, MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR (“A Hole In My Heart”) and the coveted, ENTRTAINER OF THE YEAR!
The Official 2022 ISSA Awards Finalists have spent years, months, hours and many days and nights getting their music ready, their websites polished and their fan bases geared up for an entire month of voting to get to this critical point!
From here, the ISSA judges, comprised of the last two years’ gold level winners, will have the entire summer to get to know these fabulous artists and get their ballot selections in to determine who will be taking home crystals at the 2022 ISSA Awards at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, August 6th, 2022.
The Awards ceremony will be attended by ISSA Members, Nominees, Finalists, Judges, past winners and is open to the public as well. In years past, the ISSA Awards have seen people attending from countries from around the world and the ISSA says they are thrilled to resume their live show in Atlanta once again. Most categories will award three crystals: bronze, silver and gold. Gold level winners may not win for two consecutive years following their initial winning year but instead, receive free admission for themselves and a guest, may present an award at the following years’ shows and they have an opportunity to perform on various stages as well as join the distinguished panel of judges determining who will be worthy of a future ISSA crystal in their place.
