On the heal of his ISSA Nominations, Johnny was surprised with TWO Alabama Music Award Nominations this afternoon. Johnny is nominated for Bama Country Male Artist and Bama Country Band. This is Johnny’s first AMA nominations and, as the award show is open to the public, he is excited about the availability of fans attending the award show (being held at the Bessemer Civic Center) with him! Johnny was further honored with a personal invitation from The AMA’s Owner and Founder, Mr. Garrett, to perform at this year’s Award Show representing Alabama’s Country Music entertainers.
The Alabama Music Awards (AMAs) is a celebration that showcases Alabama’s musical talent. The audience will get to enjoy LIVE performances, RED CARPET interviews, HONOREE presentations and more! A&R from well-known record labels, management companies, and various media outlets will be present at this awesome event! The opportunities and exposure for artists will be in great multitude! In addition, the audience will get to indulge in the hard work and accomplishments of these talented and unique artists.
The 8th Annual Alabama Music Awards will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the Bessemer Civic Center located at 1130 9th Avenue SW, Bessemer, AL 35022. There will be a Fun Day Back to School Rally for the children of the community (Date is TBD).
Fans are encouraged to participate in selecting the winners from the list of nominees by voting. There is no limit on the amount of votes submitted and voting continues for a 90 Day period. Polls will close on June 12th.
